Esfahani’s recent work explores both traditional and modern culture, process, and ritual. Incorporating parallel elements of these highly structured artistic regimes, his performances and sculpture focus on juxtaposition, and expressions of balance.

Esfahani studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree. His work has been featured in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The History Channel. He currently lives and works in San Francisco, California.
